Experience

Christina Morrison is a Massachusetts native who currently resides in Chicago. She graduated in 2018 with her BFA in Contemporary Dance from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, under merit scholarship. During her time at Boston Conservatory, she performed works by Robert Battle, Alison Cook Beatty, Merce Cunningham, Mark Morris and Dwight Rhoden. She has also danced in several world premieres of choreography by MADBOOTS Dance, Francesca Harper, Christopher Kinsey, Omar Carrum and Claudia LaVista. 

She has premiered work at the Institute of Contemporary Art (Boston), at Stage 773 for Trifecta Dance Collective’s “A New Light”, at Links Hall for Ground Rhythm's “Breaking Grounds” Series (in collaboration with Maxine Patronik), at The Edge Theater for “EMERGENCE” held by Alluvion Dance, and at the Greenhouse Theater for Simatikos’ “2nd Annual Choreo-Kick Off.” Her professional choreographic endeavors kicked off in the summer of 2018 when she worked as Head Choreographer for the ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston’s NRG Stadium: a festival that attracts an audience of over 30,000.

Christina is currently resetting her piece “Uptight” on Simantikos Dance in February for their 2020 season.
