For those of us in colder climates, this period of “mid-winter” can lead to a sort of perpetual sluggishness, day round.
And though I don’t always enjoy frozen fingertips, this time does bring about a sort of humbling slowness; an opportunity to be introspective, productive, and direct.
Summer is full of simple joys: joys that don't eat at our money or effort or time…but mid-winter, you are full of un-satisfaction! You make us want to hole up and order take out and skip the gym.
